The Bulgarian name of the craft "sarachestvo" originates from the Arab word "sarach" that means saddle. The masters make horse accessories, straps, leashes, trunks, bags, belts, catridge-pouches, holsters, tanned sandals, etc. As a basic material they use the leather of cattle, sheep, goats and swine.
