And this autumn for 12th consecutive time, the ethnographic open - air museum "ETAR" invites masters and guests to the Traditional Autumn Fair of Arts and Crafts. The only condition for participation of exhibitors and tradesmen is that their article should be from the register of the traditional crafts.
    Thereby the visitors of "ETAR" museum will be able to acquaint themselves with he variety of the craftsmen's articles - which exist in various forms in the present day.
    We have invited masters from different regions of the country to take part in the fair - potters and turners from Troyan region, craftsmen from "Stariyat Dobrich" and Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Vratsa, Targovishte, etc.
    This autumn the guest museum at "ETAR" will be the ethnographic museum - Chiprovtsi with the exhibition "Carpets from Chiprovtsi". It will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday - 7th of September.
    We have prepared demonstrations of forgotten crafts - weaving of panniers from hazel wands, twisting ropes of hemp yarn, natural dyeing for the guests to the fair. The visitors will be able to taste and smoked plums in the canal drying rack.
    Along with the commercial part we have prepared and entertaining programme with the participation of folklore groups of dancers and singers.
