Training in Bulgarian Folklore Music
The folklore ensemble "Zdravets" was established in 1997 by professional performers-singers and instrumentalists. All of them have graduated the professional music schools in Kotel, Shiroka Laka and the Conservatoire of musical and dance art in Plovdiv. Except the traditional Bulgarian instruments-"kaval"-shepherd's flute, bag-pipe, rebec and tambourine, they master and characteristic of some folklore regions instruments as Rhodope bag-pipe, "duduk"-wooden pipe, accordion, percussion instruments.
Performances from Gabrovo region and all folklore regions in Bulgaria are included in the repertoire of the company.
The company develops its concert activity in the region of Gabrovo. In 1999 it was invited to participate in the International Music Festival in Dranotar-Belgium and a lot of concerts followed in the region of Brussels.
The "Zdravets" company recorded its first album in the same year.
Training in Bulgarian Folklore music
Training in playing Bulgarian folk instruments: "kaval"-shepherd's flute, bag-pipe, rebec, tambourine and folk singing.
-The training is carried out in summer season and continues up to 5 or 10 days, 2 hours a day, at the price 12 levs per hour.
-The training can be only individual.
-Everyone who wishes can buy the corresponding musical instrument.
Lecture and demonstrations on the theme "Bulgarian Folk Instruments". It can be organized all the year round.

Important condition:
-The company doesn't engage in ensuring an interpreter during the time of training.
-Requests for training or concert performances are accepted not late than 10 days before the desired date.
