AEC "ETAR" is a center from which the tourists can make the following one-day excursions:
» The town of Trjavna, famous for its splendid museum complex, the icon painting and woodcarving schools. It's located 20 km. from Gabrovo.
» Bojentzi - 8 km away from Gabrovo, a wonderful architectural reserve.
» Veliko Tarnovo - the capital of the second Bulgarian Kingdom, 50 km from here.
» Drjanovo Monastery - 20 km from Gabrovo, a historical monument.
» Shipka memorial - at the top of Shipka.
A specialist from the museum can accompany the tourists to the above-mentioned sites.

"ETAR" is working through the whole year without a day off.
During the summer season (from 01 May till 30 September) it can be visited from 9.00 to 18.00.
During winter months it has the following working time: from 9.00 to 16.30.
We offer you guided tours through the complex in English, German, French, Bulgarian and Russian languages.

Prices:
I. Price for a visit 4.00 lv.
- students 2.00 lv.
- family ticket with children up to 18 years old 8.00 lv.
- Children up to 7 years old, children from public houses and disabled persons Free
II. Guided tours (lectures):
- in Bulgarian language 6.00 lv.
- in foreign language 12.00 lv.
III. For taking photographs:
- with professional camera 120.00 lv./hour
IV. Parking fee for 2 hours
- Cars 2.00 lv.
- Buses 4.00 lv.
After the second hour you have to pay a parking fee 1.00 lv. for every following hour
The payment should be effected in Bulgarian levs, according to the current exchange rate for the day.
